We are excited to share with you the good news, this week our
healthcare design team has completed the Health Facility Planning Course, with
all members passing the final exam with flying colors!
Following this achievement, the team today completed a two day
training program on the Health Facility Briefing Software that will support our
future healthcare design projects including one project that is currently
underway. The team will work on extending this knowledge to colleagues across
CCG’s other departments, to encourage a smoother design process for all
projects.
This is a great step for our devoted team that we hope will lead
to even more exciting healthcare projects in the future. Congratulations to
department head Fadel Al-Hadidi and the rest of the team; Farah Bsais, Randa
Abu Manneh, Renata Toughoz, Mohammad Al-Haddad and May Daas.
This internationally acclaimed CPD program is designed to
introduce the specialized aspects and complex journey of healthcare planning
and design, to develop skills in infrastructure projects. The course, by TAHPI,
focuses on evidence-based research, how to handle change leadership, and
strategic alignment with organizational goals when planning and designing
public and private facilities. The medical basis is introduced along with
design and construction strategies to create healthy buildings in alignment with
the most recent codes and standards of the International Health Facility
Guideline (IHFG).
