WAEDAT - The Women Access to Entrepreneurship Development and Training Society, is a non-profit initiative that is committed to enabling females throughout Jordan and the region to overcome social barriers, restrictions and challenges.
Their access to funds is facilitated to assist them in launching, promoting and growing entrepreneurial projects that contribute to sustainable social and economic development.
Since its establishment in 2004, WAEDAT has been dedicated to providing ambitious underprivileged women with capacity building, mentoring and networking opportunities, as well as technical, managerial, and soft skills training to empower and help them realize their entrepreneurial dreams and become champions in their local communities and beyond.
"We can all make a difference in the lives of others in need, because it is the simplest of gestures that make the most significant of differences."
Today, WAEDAT’s efforts have extended beyond Jordan to encompass neighbouring countries including Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Yemen.
