Project Description

A commercial, social and cultural hub with an Arabic market, a fish market and a meat and vegetable market. Located within the UNESCO world heritage site of Al Ain, the souk is one of the few remaining modern heritage buildings of its time.

The establishment and conservation of the complex supports the government's goals of boosting the city's economic development by encouraging local production, trading and tradition.

The project improves the attractiveness of the area by rehabilitating and restoring the historic building to create new functions and support interactions and local economic activities.
