Project Description

An iconic, contemporary interpretation of traditional Arabian architecture and a modern addition to the skyline that still fits with the cultural uniqueness of Al Ain.

The 2-floor structure accommodates 4,800 worshipers, including a female prayer hall for 700, support services and underground parking. Influenced by day and night, an interplay of light and shadow emphasizes the relationship between inside and outside and defines each space.

Symbolism lies in the definition of Islam as light, purity, and tranquility, inspiring the mosque's composition as an honest expression of the spirit of Islam.
