Project Description

The existing roads were evaluated and upgraded by replacing the 4-lane road and steel guard rail, with a 6-lane limited access highway and concrete barriers.

This included feasibility and environmental studies, as well as designs for pedestrian bridges, street lighting, a storm water system, road landscaping and furniture.

It also includes the design of a 2-lane service road on both sides of the main highway, taking into consideration the safety measures, and the proper connections between both roads using underpasses.
